This event is presented in partnership with Queer Outta Hamilton and Bent Q
Pierre-Luc Landry is an author, editor, and publisher and has a PhD in creative writing. He is a faculty member at the Royal Military College of Canada’s French Studies department. Listening for Jupiter is Landry’s second novel and his first to appear in translation in English.
Marcus McCann is the author of three collections of poetry, most recently Shut Up Slow Down Let Go Breathe (Invisible Publishing, 2017). His work has been awarded the EJ Pratt Medal and John Newlove Award, and was shortlisted for the Gerald Lampert Award. Born in Hamilton, McCann is a part owner of Toronto’s Glad Day Bookshop.
Tara-Michelle Ziniuk‘s third book of poetry, Whatever, Iceberg will be published with Mansfield Press in April 2017. Her work has appeared in make/shift, Joyland, Prism, Matrix, No More Potlucks, The Best Canadian Poetry 2016 and other publications. She lives in Toronto with her daughter.
Sarah Pinder is the author of Common Place and Cutting Room. Her writing has been included in Geist, Arc, and Poetry Is Dead, and others. She lives in Toronto.
Michael V. Smith is the author of What You Can’t, Have, Progress, Cumberland, and so many great poetry books you’ve never read. He teaches Creative Writing at UBC Okanagan campus. His new poetry book, Bad Ideas, is much smarter than he is in person.
