Bryan Prince Bookseller has a long history of working with various community partners on different projects. Some of these collaborations are one-time events while others are long-term projects.

We are delighted to be the official bookseller for the Telling Tales: Family Festival of Stories each September; the gritLIT Festival each April; and the Writers at Woody Point (Newfoundland) each August.

The Hamilton Poetry Centre has held their guest poet reading series at the bookstore, and we are happy to continue the tradition in our new Reading Room.

Currently our ongoing projects include:
1) The Short Works Prize with Hamilton Arts & Letters Magazine and Hamilton Public Library

2) The Centre for Community Engaged Narrative Arts (CCENA) with McMaster University

3) Amnesty International Book Club-Westdale with OPIRG McMaster and Amnesty International Canada. Please see the information for this book club under the “book” tab.

4) Death: Something to Talk About with the Palliative Care Department at McMaster University, P.X. Dermody Funeral Home and Hamilton Public Library. We are currently in the process of updating the DSTTA page, please watch for it to be added soon.

Please visit the individual pages below to find out more about these exciting projects.
