Hello and welcome to our new website, we hope you like it.
This new format offers a wonderfully rich events format so we can give you lots of details about authors coming to visit and the books they will be presenting. We will also we able to add some interesting new interactive features- one of which is your fellow book lovers sharing the books they have picked up in the store and enjoyed. We are excited to announce that submissions are now being accepted for the Short Works Prize. Please see here for guidelines. Submissions can be dropped off at the bookstore.

We have quite a busy June with book launches by McMaster professor, Daniel Coleman; Hamilton Review of Books senior editior, Sally Cooper; an evening of conversation with Hamilton author, Pasha Malla; and a post-Pride literary evening with Trish Salah, jia qing wilson-yang and Kai Cheng Thom. We will also be hosting a few community events, including the Tower Poetry Society’s summer launch and an art exhibit by students at the SAGE School. June also marks the launch of our Westdale branch of the Amnesty International Book Club.

In the community, we are looking forward to the Hamilton Arts Awards on June 7.
